I have not written much lately i have been very busy and tired. I have been reading journals now and again but haven't been commenting on many. But unfortunately my Mum took ill on Saturday and died Tuesday so now i am in the throes of funeral arrangements as well as christmas. It will probably be the new year before i get back to normal after the funeral January 4th, although then we start with probate and selling her house, but never mind it comes to us all. She was 83 and had a bad heart for years so every day was a bonus, she had been on borrowed time for awhile. She had gone blind in one eye and the other one was going fast as was her short term memory, i think this was her time to go and it was peaceful.
In case i don't get a chance, happy christmas and new year to you all.

My sincerest sympathies to you. As I just lost my Dad this past summer I do know what you are going though. It took us 3 long months before all was taken care of and I was so exhausted that I still feel burned out. We had nursed my mom and she died the year before and then took care of Dad and lost him this year. I don't think I'll recoop from all that for a long time yet. Hope you have some fond memories that will make your Christmas brighter and that you get to enjoy the holidays a little. 'On Ya' - ma

Jenny, I heard about your mother's passing from Guido's journal. I'm so sorry...I feel your pain, I lost my mom in 1987 and not a day goes by that I don't think of her and miss her. Just remember, to take some time for yourself....take care, Linda in Washington state

Hi Jenny... I found your link at one of Paul's entries... I decided to come by and visit yours. I see this is not a good time for you. I am sorry about your Mum. Losing a family member close to the Holidays (and Holy Days) is upsetting enough. I know your faith in God, our great Comforter and Counselor, will help you get through this loss and crisis. I will come back another time to visit more deeply. Take care. bea
