Pooter, B'day

The lead on my computer broke last week so i had to get a new one.  i was most thankful that it was the lead and not the actual laptop.  I tried getting into AOL with my desktop but that is not broadband and everything was so slow i got too frustrated.

Now can anyone tell me this, why when i get AOL up on my desktop pooter (Supanet is my provider) is the home page and everything about it completely different to my AOL on my laptop (Which is my provider)????????

Woke up yesterday with my right eyelid swollen up with fluid.  It has gone down a bit but not completely.  It is worse in the morning and just aches a bit but does not hurt.  My daughter's eye is the same but hers really hurts her and keeps coming up, usually when she is stressed, (it's school holidays)!

G'son was 8 Thursday and had a good day and the day before g'son, g'daughter and daughter went to see the 'Lion King' up London.  They really enjoyed it as i knew they would as i have seen it a few years ago.  They went with ADDUP my g'son's ADHD support group who heavily subsidised it which made it affordable for my daughter, seats in London's theatres being the price they are.  One of the bonuses of going somewhere with the club is that all the kids are in the same boat so Mums do not worry they are being looked at and judged when the kids do not behave like little angels.  They always include siblings with any activity as they recognise that they are as much involved in the family problems when there is someone with ADHD in the family.  They welcome g'daughter to all the ADDUP activities with open arms and she always enjoys herself when she goes.

Echo Jan's advice, check with doctor regarding eye. You should be able to adjust the settings on the other comp to make it the same as the laptop.

Computers are a mystery to me for sure.  When I have problems I have to call DS#4 , he always seems to know what to do.  Thank the dear Lord for him. Hope that eye gets better soon.  'On Ya' - ma

HI Jenny- My son turned 7 Thursday~  He also has ADHD.  Sounds like your daughter has a good support there for your grandson.  I'm glad.  It is hard sometimes to go someplaces when he is too hyper.  I'm glad they all had a nice time at the theater.  God Bless, and have a wonderful week- hope your eye gets better!  Carolyn

Happy belated Bday to your "little" man.  8 is a serious age now.  I'm jealous over the Lion King.    :-)
